Paul Brooks & Sheldon Hope Join MetOcean Telematics
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (June 25th, 2020) MetOcean Telematics (MetOcean), is pleased to welcome two new members to its expanding team: Paul Brooks, as VP of Engineering and Operations and Sheldon Hope, as Director of Manufacturing. Both Paul Brooks and Sheldon Hope will operate out of MetOcean’s head office location in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
MetOcean is a familiar territory for Paul Brooks (Paul). Paul was previously MetOcean Data Systems’ VP, of Engineering from 2012-2016 and we are excited to welcome him back to MetOcean Telematics. Paul possesses extensive and invaluable industry experience and will be responsible for both MetOcean’s Engineering and Operations departments. In addition to managing the two departments, Paul will hold an integral spot on MetOcean’s Executive Team. Paul will be a key contributor and will influence the overall strategic direction of the company. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. “I am honored to have been asked to lead MetOcean into the exciting next stage of its growth.” — said Paul Brooks, VP Engineering and Operations.
Sheldon Hope (Sheldon), reporting to Paul Brooks, will lead MetOcean’s manufacturing team and is responsible for developing new stream-lined manufacturing processes for MetOcean’s diverse line of telematics products. Sheldon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Acadia University and has over 20+ years of experience in Manufacturing and leading teams. “I am very happy to be joining one of Atlantic Canada’s top employers. With a local footprint and truly global reach, I look forward to guiding the manufacturing of MetOcean’s suite of world-class products.
