MetOcean Telematics Joins Canada’s Net-Zero Challenge

MetOcean Telematics is pleased to announce that we have officially joined Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Net-Zero Challenge.

The Net-Zero Challenge is a voluntary initiative that aims to encourage businesses to develop and implement credible and effective plans to transition their facilities and operations to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. By participating, MetOcean Telematics is reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

For over 4 decades, MetOcean has been enabling ocean and environmental research and conservation. As a Net-Zero Challenge participant, MetOcean will take the necessary steps to align its operations with the program’s technical guidance, ensuring that our emission reduction strategies are measurable and impactful.

Our work in satellite communications already supports critical environmental monitoring efforts around the world, and we see joining the Net-Zero Challenge as a natural extension of that mission.

We look forward to advancing our sustainability journey and contributing to a more resilient, low-carbon future.
