IDEX 2021 Countdown
MetOcean Telematics (MetOcean) is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at the world-renowned defense exhibition, IDEX 2021, from February 21st-25th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre – ADNEC, Abu Dhabi. IDEX is the only international defense exhibition and conference in the MENA region demonstrating the latest technology across land, sea, and air sectors of defense. It is a unique platform to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, businesses, and armed forces throughout the region.
The clock is ticking, and the countdown is ON, with the event starting in 30 days! MetOcean will be part of the Canadian Pavilion showcase (MetOcean stand No. 11-C09) and will be featuring its extensive suite of niche defense products and solutions throughout the event. MetOcean’s Maritime Acoustic Scoring System (MASS) will be front and center at the show. MASS is the world’s first over-the-horizon Naval Surface Fire Support (NSFS) and Naval Gunfire Scoring and Simulation (NGSS) system. The innovative marine-based system has been designed and thoroughly tested to enable naval ships to undertake self-conducted live-fire training, testing and qualification. MASS eliminates the need for land bombardment ranges and the necessity to destroy physical targets on land or at sea.
MetOcean’s Iridium SLDMB (iSLDMB) will also be on feature at IDEX. The iSLDMB is an Iridium satellite equipped Search and Rescue (SAR) drifter used for SAR efforts as well as subsurface real-time asset tracking. This buoy is a vital tool for Navies, as it assists with reducing overall operational costs while providing an additional robust and easy-to-use safety and investigational device for personnel at sea.
