Study: Drift in the uppermost part of the ocean
A research letter recently published by Johannes Röhrs and Kai H. Christensen profiles drift in the uppermost part of the ocean. The researchers used MetOcean drifters, specifically CODE/DAVIS and iSPHERE.
The researchers were able to determine accurate models of drift at or near the ocean surface and how they respond to various enviromental factors like wind and surface waves, among other things.
