MetOcean Telematics Welcomes New Directors to Drive Innovation and Growth
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (August 9, 2023) – MetOcean Telematics (MetOcean), a leading global Iridium satellite Value-Added Reseller, is delighted to announce the appointment of two seasoned professionals to key leadership roles. Chris Fougere has been appointed as the Director of Business Development for the SatCom division, while Matt Herdon joins as the Director of Products. Both directors will play pivotal roles in propelling MetOcean’s innovative solutions and strategic expansion.
In his capacity as Director of Business Development for SatCom, Chris Fougere will spearhead the management of key accounts, cultivate new client relationships, and engage with prominent business leaders and stakeholders. Chris will champion the growth of our SatCom partner network, oversee strategic accounts, and lead our Business Development team. His expertise in Sales & Business Development, backed by a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Marketing from Saint Mary’s University, adds immense value to the SatCom team. “I am thrilled to join the exceptional team at MetOcean Telematics and contribute to the growth of our SatCom division,” remarked Chris Fougere.
As Director of Products, Matt Herdon will assume the pivotal responsibility of driving product planning and execution across the entire product lifecycle. Collaborating closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Products teams, Matt will ensure the realization of revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Matt brings a wealth of experience as an adept product manager and marketing professional, having spent the last 7 years excelling while at Nautel. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of British Columbia. “I am excited to leverage my expertise in product management to enhance MetOcean’s product offerings and customer experiences,” shared Matt Herdon.
