Sales Operations Assistant | Dartmouth

Location: Dartmouth, NS (Burnside)
Type of employment: Permanent, Full-time

About the Role
You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to provide on-going support and maintenance of MetOcean’s CRM platform (Salesforce), assist and support the Sales Operations department, and assist with the Sales Orders Desk. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and Sales Operations, you will have an overall focus on operations and logistics for the sales department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce products
  • Salesforce Administration
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures documents for Sales and Tech Support
  • Monitor system performance and data quality (assignment rules, validation rules, etc.)
  • Sales support (reports, data transfer, data entry, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Add new users and apply correct permissions
  • Monthly/weekly sales and tech support metrics reports for management
  • Sales Order Support and Order Entry | secondary support for order desk
  • Customer Support in relation to Sales Orders
  • Other Sales/Marketing admin tasks as required

What you’ll bring:

  • Salesforce.com experience
  • At least 1 year experience maintaining databases considered an asset
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills; ability to determine trends and propose solutions
  • Detail Oriented
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office with extensive Microsoft Excel experience
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Excellent communication
